Distretto Tecnologico Aerospaziale della Campania

DAC is the element of cohesion between large companies, SMEs, universities and research institutes. It operates by orienting the research in order to gain practical returns on market, coherently with the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Campania Region; DAC supports the synergy between large enterprise and supply chain (SMEs) promoting their involvement in the study phase and initial design of future products within aerospace strategic areas; It supports human resources exploitation, a central element of the aerospace industry, by participating in the aerospace training and education pole in Campania.
Currently, the Campania Aerospace District involves 145 direct and indirect partners, including 23 large companies (e.g.: Leonardo [ex Alenia Aermacchi - a Finmeccanica Company], Magnaghi Aeronautica, DEMA, GEVEN, Atitech, Telespazio, etc.), 19 Research Centers (e.g.: CNR - National Research Council, CIRA - Italian Aerospace Research Center, ENEA and the 5 Campania Universities) and 90 SMEs.
