Smart Contract Farming platform is a digital coordination hub for contract farming in agricultural products, with a focus on horticulture, arable crops and livestock. Trust, risk allocation, situation specific design, capabilities are managed in operating farming contracts through a blockchain-based protocol for traceability and ensuring
commercial transactions with smart contracts. Contract farming combined with advisory support and assistance for farmers increases food safety by strengthening quality control and ensuring end-to-end traceability in the food chain.

- At Agrenta, we promote coordination among farmers, processors and distributors in the agri-food value chains. Smart Contract Farming aligns the activities of farmers with downstream operators and downstream operators with supply sources in agricultural systems. Legally, farming contracts entail farmers to supply volumes and qualities of agricultural products to processors or distributors, which, in turn, have to off-take the goods and realise payments as agreed.
