This system is designed to be energy self-sufficient thanks to the embedded Photovoltaic plant. Solarfertigation unit is designed not only to provide IoT functionalities, but to combine all the hardware and software components needed to run electrical actuations, software-services and proper network connections.

- The proposed application is a peculiar Solarfertigation version: a cooperative system. A single field will be divided into multiple areas, within a cooperative farm. The area will have a single point of water withdrawal, filtration and delivery. In every sub-area there will be installed a slave-solarfertigation. The master device, can define all the agricultural data collection and mechanical procedures for irrigation and/or fertilization.
