- "The monitoring devices on the market provide for a follow-up performed by the patient, who must place a receiver that interrogates the pacemaker on the skin; Lynx detects the electromagnetic signals of the PM, so the patient does not have to make a connection between the devices himself, furthermore contact with the skin is avoided. The possibility of inserting an alarm that alerts the patient to the presence of magnetic fields that can alter the functioning of the pacemaker."
